rain rain go away...
it's been raining non-stop for 24+ hours. with no plans to stop for another 48 or so.
yesterday - lazy sunday - i was not complaining.
today - work day monday - my toes have been cold all day!
i do love this weather, but only in small doses.
i call it snuggle weather.
which makes it most fun.
fires
fuzzy socks
flannel pants
warm drinks
full belly
twinkle of the christmas tree lights
and your dvr ready to go.
ahhhh, yes. i do love the snuggle weather when i can be lazy.
holy, christmas is coming!
can you folks believe it's already december 5th??!!

nope, i have not even put a dent in my shopping.
and i'm sure it'll be last minute this year, so unlike me.
i actually had a great weekend for the first time in a really long time.
it was about time i took a deep breath + relaxed + enjoyed myself.
fun night with friends friday, saturday & sunday!!! -wow!
saturday, my bonus-mom and i took my sweet girl to see ballet memphis preform the nutcracker. it was a first for the both of us as neither of us had ever been to a ballet performance. oh boy, we loved ... such a special day making memories with my girl.
it really put me a little more into the christmas spirit.

OMG it's been raining here too, like feels like forever! it finally quit this morning!
I've started shopping, but that doesn't mean I won't continue to do so until the last minute. You know me.. any reason to head to the mall : )
We took Jolie last year for the first time to see The Nutcracker. We ate lunch at The Magestic, walked over to the Peabody & then finished the day at the ballet. She LOVED it. So much so, they did the same thing this year.
I've started shopping but I will most likely be out getting odds and ends and finishing up at the last minute.
This post made me feel alllll warm & fuzzy inside :) Just found your blog--love it!
