i get lots of compliments on my make-up.
i love that knowing that i don't spend a ton of money on products or time on fixing my make-up.
almost everything i wear can be purchased at a drug store, target or ulta.
i tend to prefer it looks clean for during the day.
and i spruce up the eyes a bit on nights i'm headed out on the town.
i have a lot of products and just have them all tossed into a liberty of london tub sitting in my bathroom.
i don't use it all every day.. or even every week.
but i have a really hard time with tossing anything for at least a year. loool
i have a thing for face masks. i typically mud up my face 1-2 times a week.
these are my favorite two. along with my chap face moisturizer that does not clog my pores or leave my face oily. since i tan about 20 mins a day, 6 days a week.. i go through this stuff like crazy.
always, always moisturize!
now it's time to put on my face..
step 1- i apply
erase paste under my eyes and on problem areas.
step 2- apply my foundation. i am absolutely in love with
bare minerals and refuse to use any other thing. it looks flawless and lasts all day.
step 3- seal with a bit of
bronzer. just an fyi, if you're going to use bronzer all throughout the year, as with your foundation, be sure you have a different color for your winter skin tone verses your summer look.i use this one during the winter since it's a much less harsh color.
up next, i do the eyes.
step 1- i pick out whichever
quad of eyeshadow i'm feeling that day and apply. the quads are so easy with achieving that smokey eye in 4 simple steps.
step 2- sometimes you feel like a little shimmer, sometimes you don't.
step 3&4- mascara is huge for me! i'm way into the thick, cakey, false eyelash look. i wear lots of mascara.
i start with
maybelline falsies in waterproof. you'll notice less of the black circles under your eyes by days end if you switch to a waterproof mascara.
this i move onto use my
l'oreal telescopic explosion in waterproof. the small, round brush gives me the ability to reach those tiny lashes in the very corners of your eyes.
step 5- eyeliner. my fav fav fav eyeliner thanks to Ann from
Fabulous Pasta Not Included is
covergirl liquiline. i only wear it on my bottom lid. i would not suggest this for top lid eyeliner. it is not a fine tip and is a pencil you resharpen. i love this stuff so much that i buy extra sticks because i'm afraid they'll stop making it. it lasts so long!
finishing touches..
step 1- my
nyx blush. please be sure you apply plenty of blush so your face will not appear washed out. you need color on those cheeks, girls!
step 2- add a bit of
VS shimmer is you're feeling feisty. i brush it on my face, chest and depending on what i'm wearing, shoulders too.
and there you have it.
so simple.
and most of the products are so cheap.
do share with me what products you love.
i'm always up for trying new things!
